New in Bluerithm: Track History, Follow Updates, Manage Project Emails, Review Files in Bulk, Meetings, Dutch, and More

Bluerithm September Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of what is new in Bluerithm since late August. Everything below is live now in the new Bluerithm at app.bluerithm.com.

See what changed, and who changed it

Every checklist, test form, issue and piece of equipment now has a History. It lists every change, newest first: the old value, the new value, who made the change and when. That includes ticked boxes and entries in checklist tables, status changes and equipment property values. Search the history to find a specific change in seconds.

Where to find it: click History in the toolbar of a checklist, test form or issue. On a piece of equipment, it is at the top of the first tab.

Email people about their open work

Select checklists or issues on the Work or Issues page, or people on the Members page, and click Send Email. Each person gets one email listing only their own open items, as a first notice or a reminder, with links back into the project. You see a preview of each email before anything is sent.

Need to share the bigger picture? New > Project update email sends one update to the project members you choose. Write it yourself, or click Draft With AI to start from a summary of the project’s progress, issues and upcoming work (when AI tools are turned on for your account).

Account Admins and Users from the company that owns the project can send these emails. Anyone can turn them off under Settings > Email notifications.

Follow the work and issues you care about

Click Follow on any checklist, test form or issue, or select several on the Work or Issues page and click Follow. Each project now has a Following page that lists everything you follow, with settings to follow automatically: all issues, issues assigned to you, all work, or work assigned to you. Updates arrive in your “Updates from your projects” email, and its links now open in the new Bluerithm.

Save your favorite views

Set up a grid the way you like it, with column filters, sort, search, grouping and Adv. Filters, then click Save Filter to keep it under a name. Bring it back with one click from the Saved Filters strip. Keep it to yourself, or share it with everyone on the project or with specific people. Saved filters work on the Equipment, Work, Issues and Attachments grids, and on the Work grid of a project template.

Review required files in bulk

Approve, reject or replace required files straight from the project’s Attachments page, one file or many at once, even across different checklists. A new Approval column shows what is awaiting approval, approved or rejected, so reviewers can filter to what needs them. An upload that is waiting for approval now also moves its work to In Progress.

Meetings have their own page

Meetings now open on a dedicated meeting page, with the series, stage, agenda, attendees, action items and issued minutes in one place.

A few more improvements

  • Files from guests. Guests can add files and file references to the work and issues assigned to them, and Privileged Guests to any work or issue. User roles
  • Faster restores from Trash. The checkbox in the header row selects every item on the page. Recovering deleted items
  • Retire the legacy web app. Account Admins can turn off the legacy web app (trac.bluerithm.com) for their whole account, so everyone works in the new Bluerithm: Home, then the Account tab. Only Bluerithm support can turn it back on. How to turn it off
  • Ready for your AI tools. History, Follow, saved filters, project emails and meetings are fully supported by the Bluerithm API and MCP server, so connected AI assistants can use them too.
