Announcing the Bluerithm + Claude Cowork Integration

Bluerithm + Claude Cowork Integration

AI in commissioning software is about to look very different.

Over the past couple of years, a few software platforms in our industry (including ours) have added AI features. Auto-generated descriptions, form generating tools, chat-based interactions, and so on. These are useful, but the reality is they’re very simplistic relative to the current state of agentic AI. They work inside a single screen, on a single task, with limited context.

We just shipped something fundamentally different: a Claude Cowork integration for Bluerithm.

Instead of a chatbot bolted onto our UI, this is an agentic AI that can actually do work across your commissioning projects. It understands our domain. Equipment types and systems, functional performance tests, issue tracking, and all the complexities of modern building and plant engineering and systems. It can execute multi-step workflows on your behalf. Set up an entire project’s equipment schedule by synthesizing the project documents with your Bluerithm templates. Create and configure checklists and forms across equipment.

But here’s what I think people are underestimating about where this is headed.

Tools like Cowork aren’t just a better AI feature, they’re becoming a new interface layer for software. When your AI assistant can connect to multiple platforms simultaneously, the boundaries between tools start to dissolve.

Imagine telling your AI assistant:
“Pull the equipment list from our Bluerithm project, cross-reference it with the submittals log in ACC and flag anything that’s been approved but doesn’t have an up to date test form.

That’s Bluerithm and Autodesk Construction Cloud in one request. No custom integration. No middleware. No API development project your IT team needs to fund.

Or:
“Look at our open commissioning issues in Bluerithm, find the ones assigned to the mechanical sub, draft an email summarizing what’s outstanding, and check Procore to see if any related RFIs are still pending.”

This isn’t theoretical. The infrastructure for this exists today, and adoption is accelerating fast.

The shift I’d encourage our industry to pay attention to:
The AI features we’ve seen so far are nice-to-have minor tools (or sometimes flashy toys that don’t add a lot of value). What’s emerging now are agents—software that doesn’t just assist with a task but can own a workflow end to end.

Bluerithm is now that kind of platform. If you’re a commissioning professional curious about what this looks like in practice, please take a look at this video and reach out to get started. We can quickly migrate you off your existing Cx platform, spreadsheets, or whatever you’re using to a best-in-class commissioning platform that’s leading the way with next-generation tools.
